Some scenes, like when they played basketball against the orderlies, when McMurphy narrated a make believe baseball game from a blank tv and inspired everyone to celebrate, and when Chief drops the porcelain sink through the window and runs off into the distance, give this movie a reason to be as beloved as it is. I was rooting for McMurphy’s rebellion against Nurse Rachet and the system that enslaved him and the other patients into submission.
