  When interstellar came out, I was knee-deep into life as an overworked college student & hadn't kept up at all with any culture developments, so I had no idea what this movie was about: hadn't seen any trailers, didn't know it was by Nolan, etc. I bought at ticket to see it in IMAX with friends (some physics majors), & I walked out of that movie theatre flabbergasted.
