Platoon 1986
This was a captivating movie to watch. Seeing how each of the characters dealt with the extreme violence and atrocities that occurred in the Vietnam War was compelling, especially as we follow along the main character becoming more accustom the inhumanity occurring. I think the film did shy away from some of the greater human rights violations the United States military committed, which I think would’ve done more to not only show viewers how truly egregious the war was, but also educate them about the war crimes U.S. committed.

It's What's Inside 2024
i didn’t know what this was about before watching it and i’m honestly really glad because it was fun watching the plot unravel. the storyline was overall interesting and creative, especially considering the concept of whether our humanity lies in our soul or our body. i definitely want to rewatch it, primarily to see the build up to the twist at the end because it didn’t feel like that big of a reveal to me.
