  Opus hate is forced tbh—. The shots + the story building were frankly great, pretty immersive even. The music score was genuinely excellent, "Dina Simone" is a banger; and the acting never felt unserious, even in moments of tension; j felt a little weird to see Ayo Edebiri in a non-comedic role, but she did good

  ALSO this movie is wayyyy more reminiscent of Hive or Midsommar.. just say you've only watched 3 movies 🙄

  strong buff bi woman 😍… I mean,, great movie !!

  more seriously, this movie was visually stunning. great use of color and grain, which we don’t see as often nowadays. So love A24 for that! 
  In that sense it was pretty retro (makes sense though since it’s set in the 80s) yet it was p refreshing to see. 
  BOTH ACTRESSES ARE SO STUNNING AND HAVE AMAZING CHEMISTRY

  Interesting commentary on drug use as well, the way it was portrayed…
