Movies peaked in the 90s/early 2000s. This movie gives you all the information you need to throw you into its dystopian world in the first minute and throws you right into the story. It's fun and emotional and a warning for how the government can become evil and controlling through feeling. The action scenes are just ridiculous but fun enough to easily pass for an early 2000s movie. It feels like 1984 but with a different ending. Loved this movie.

this is such an embarrassing movie i genuinely cant believe a team of writers created this dogshit plot that has almost nothing to do with michael myers at all and is basically a rushed awful love story that makes no sense and moves way too fast, they're borderline about to get married after knowing each other for 24 hours its insane i hate this movie so much oh my god all the footage is borderline stock footage you see michael 2 times the music is awful and barely halloween related there is NOTHING GOOD ABOUT THIS MOVIE I HATE THIS MOVIE

One of the best horror movie's I've ever seen, it manages typical tropes very well (police actually do get called, but are powerless to stop the creature). The buildup for the creature is amazing, slowly revealing him throughout the movie until they fully show him. And even then, there's STILL more.
