Adolescence 2025
I couldn't get behind the formal one-takers in the first two episodes. I felt the camera was bouncing too much and characters were kinda obviously giving it cues. However, the same format worked so well in the last two episodes where the scope felt more intimate and there was no need for abrupt changes in space.
The series was very moving, it made me feel a bit sick even. Although it can be preachy and very on-the-nose, it's a very solemn project that treats well and respects the viewer without holding anything it wants to say.

The Darjeeling Limited 2007
Perhaps Anderson's most personal and emotionally driven movie since Tenenbaums. The three guys all play a different face of grief and the complexity of healing, the goofy and the sad. The flashback scene got me in the verge of tears, so well played!
