  Maintains tension throughout without being one note, also some humour, beautiful shots. Feels very contemporary, with the notions around masculinity, nuclear families, and left/right wing culture war fractiousness. Like Barbarian it showcases a female lead who is more than capable of using violence as a last resort, but at the same time it's not making fun of her husband for being less competent under duress.

  I really enjoyed the through line of parenthood and generational trauma throughout, discipline and 'Traditional'…
