Star Wars: The Last Jedi 2017
The worst Star Wars movie ever created with total disregard for Lore, Character work, and good writing. It’s impossible to have an IQ higher than 10 and think this is a good addition to the Star Wars universe. 2 stars are for the cinematography, at least someone cared about their work.

Weathering with You 2019
A weaker story than "Your Name" and "Suzume" in my opinion, but all the same interesting and well done. I wish the film had more character growth for its two protagonists and allowed more on-screen time for their relationship to grow instead of rushing it along.

Blue Valentine 2010
A well shot, well paced, and tragically compelling story about the slow death of love. This film does a good job bouncing back and forth between two timelines, slowly revealing key information about its two protagonists. It is a sobering and harsh look at marriage in it's worst form.

Lady Ballers 2023
A decent attempt at slapstick comedy. Although this movie is technically adequate (for a low-budget film), and has a few genuinely funny moments- the film is greatly held back by its poor writing and acting. Another weak point of the film was the score- which sounded like temp-tracks that never got replaced. I want to like this movie since it is willing to poke fun at an “untouchable” subject, but it plays like a low-budget indie film with adult amateur…
