Coraline 2009
Oddly enough, this is (and has been) my favorite movie of all time. The stop film animation is so interesting a lost art. I love seeing all of the conspiracy theories online and noticing a different small detail of the movie that adds to the storyline. Every detail to this movie is impecable; the lightning looking like the other mother's hand, the double loop in the "o" on the cake, etc.
I probable watch this movie bimonthly and don't see myself stopping anytime soon

Call Me by Your Name 2017
A movie I always fall back on. I love the soundtrack and cinematography. The storyline never gets old and all the actors were so perfectly selected. I loved seeing Elio's natural progression of realizing his sexuality and felt like I could hear all of his thoughts.
I have also read the book series and can confidently say that this movie is a great representation of the book

Moonlight 2016
Saw this movie for the first time as a re-run and I 100 percent understand the hype with this movie. I am late, but outraged this movie lost to LA LA Land considering that movie has terrible acting, a horrible concept, etc.
