  At what point do we consider Robert Eggers one of the greatest directors of all time.

  The VVitch was a masterpiece in fear and grounded realistic horror, The Lighthouse was a masterpiece in eldritch, Lovecraftian type horror and The Northman, was a masterpiece in Scandinavian historical storytelling. And Nosferatu is ANOTHER masterpiece in Gothic horror.

  This film is a distinct critique on societies need to create martyrs to entice a movement. A lot of people will be and are incredibly conflicted over this film. However, I fall somewhere on the positive side.
