Mary Poppins Returns 2018
For me this film can be perfectly metaphorically summarised by Disney shooting a bow at a target so large and easy to shoot that it it should’ve been an easy victory however they accidentally shoot themself in both feet by accident - Mary Poppins might’ve returned but she can bugger off and go home again.

Our Little Secret 2024
Watching this felt at times like it was frustratingly close to being a good thing, it needed a more fleshed out script and weirdly I think it needed to be set in England and with an English cast. The writer wrote this during Covid and is Canadian so the references of moving to Australia and London make more sense if the story is set in Canada. Some decent and some terrible acting performances throughout but I finished it thinking it just needed a little more of everything tbh
