On the plot:
I enjoy when films walk the line between supernatural phenomena and insanity. I’m fine with the twist, though maybe not done that explicitly. But that climactic scene was not strong at all and I wish it was done better.

Hard for me to fully enjoy because:
I’m not too familiar with the legal system but I feel like having a wife in third trimester of high-risk pregnancy is enough of an excuse to be dismissed, as we see this definitely swayed his vote and he missed the final verdict
I know it is stated that the defense is low on resources but how do you completely miss the possibility of a hit and run? Wouldn’t it be easier for the witness to identify a vehicle than a man’s face? Shouldn’t the focus have been on placing the plaintiff’s car at the scene?
