Crowd pleasing movie for parents. Good acting and funny moments but nothing stands out as spectacular. The action scenes leave a lot to be desired especially the car chase. Not very well delivered tension. Altogether pretty average but Brad Pitt, George Clooney, and even Austin Abrams are super charismatic so it makes the experience slightly more enjoyable, however, Austin Abram’s delivery takes me out of the movie at very brief points. If you don’t like leads this movie will be impossible to sit through. Fun movie to watch with your parents.

Charming and stylistic. Love the old timey authentic feel of the sound design. Very funny, reminds me of black dynamite with how self aware it is and its conscious efforts to make it as cheesy as possible. Is very style over substance with a weak story but the charm goes a long way.

The salt mine is a pretty interesting setting. Tilda Swinton is incredible as always. The acting throughout is alright however the characters are not very well written and it’s hard to relate to, empathize with, or care about them. A majority of the film feels purposeless and you could remove half of the scenes and nothing would change. The weak music makes it really hard to check into this musical and it really struggles to keep my attention. Third song is alright though. This movie is alright for the directors first time making a film that isn’t a documentary.

Thought it was going to be funny to watch Francis Ford Coppola take another shit on his legacy after falling down the deep end of brain rot conservatism but it was just kinda sad. The movie feels like it goes on way too long with pretentious jargon that feels more like a boring lecture than trying to give you something to think about. The film making is also lazy and purposeless. The scene where Adam Driver talks to no one…
