This is way to in-depth for me but this film is so expertly done. It portrays the harsh realities of persecution and oppression people face, and how it molds and changes somebody. Chiron evolving into the man he looked up to was perfect, it shows how deep he perceived everything and how much Juan meant to him. Everything about this movie was good but the acting was the best, older Chiron really showed what he was thinking without saying, him figuring out how to speak his thoughts at the end fit everything together.
