The Beatles: Get Back 2021
I’ve watched this documentary three times since it was released in 2022. I was already a big Beatles fan so this was a pleasant surprise. SPOILER/ANALYSIS: Finally got around to watching it. I thought it did Bob Marley justice by the end and didn’t embellish the true story too much. It often spoke on anti-colonialism which was accurate to Bob Marley’s political stance on the matter. knowing it was their first official film, I thought the camera angles were too aesthetic. An amazing story that deserves plenty of rewatches! This movie came out around the same time as ‘there will be blood’ which is considered by Quentin Tarantino as the best movie of the 2000’s.
