This film, while criticized for its stilted dialogue and clunky acting, is perhaps one of the most tragic entries in the Star Wars universe, when put into the context of the rest of the series. The tragedy is found in the decline of the Jedi Order, the humanity of Jedi's, and the foreshadowing of Anakin's demise.

I do not believe I could have a long lasting relationship with someone who critically watches this movie and enjoys it. My family of three have the expert opinion on the family in Onward.
