  A suprisingly excellent example of "chekhov's gun": the principle that every element in a story is relevant and will come into play eventually.

  This came as a surprise to me because 1. it is a "kid's movie" which often lack great writing and 2. Because I thought they must have been very rushed to make a sequel to the popular first instalment but I can happily say, it is clear to me that they took their time to make sure it was just right.
