Fun ensemble cast that acts circles around the main lead. Seriously, this may be one of the worst lead performances I’ve ever seen.
Pretty one to one adaptation of the short story until they change up the ending that King must have approved of. I have to give this movie credit for having one of the ballsiest unexpected endings I’ve ever seen.

If you’re at a point where you think you’ve seen everything, this is the one where you can finally say “now I’ve seen everything, and I don’t like it”.Consistently laugh out loud funny for two and a half hours. For the final act Ari gets his chance to laugh at us for a change where you can feel a theater full of fans instantly turn on everything they’ve seen, and that’s pretty hilarious on its own.

Nosferatu 2024
If this story was to be told again, it needed someone as stylish and talented as Robert Eggers to pull it off and it totally works. There’s a great balance of beauty and intense dread in every single scene. Great performances, sets, makeup; Eggers’ vision can’t be understated. Best vampire movie.
Seeing it in 35mm was especially awesome to experience. It’s like looking at an actual photograph as opposed to looking at a picture someone took on their phone of a photograph.
