  Akira is a beautifully animated surreal anime jam packed with gorgeous visuals and surreal imagery. On top of that, it’s action is gloriously brutal, bloody and violent.   Despite my incredibly low expectations for this movie, I none the less attempted to go in optimistic. Who knows, maybe it’ll surprise me right…? RIGHT?!?!?!?! Well, it certainly met my incredibly low expectations, so no surprise there. But, none the less…. FUCK THIS MOVIE IS BAD!
