Rap World 2024
The first 2009 period piece. The Portland Q and A with Carrie Brownstein was great. I like how she described the movie (and Conner O'Malley's humor in general) as possessing an aggressive vulnerability, with a gnawing sense of longing for what was or what is supposed to be. The film showcased the distinct humor of Eric Rahill, Jack Bensinger, and Conner without making it feel disjointed or fragmented. Super funny and original and nostalgic and I wish it was 4 hours long instead of 1.
