This was a decent movie. Acting wasn’t bad, but it was extremely predictable to me. Had like one jump scare, which I was expecting more. Some of the practical effects were good and some were questionable. Overall, wasn’t a bad movie, but think this is a one and done movie for me when it comes to watching it.
Ugh, this movie was wonderful. I enjoyed the way it was found footage, made it so much more believable. Really liked that it was in color when on air and in black and white when off air. The special effects were quite goofy, but I enjoyed them. The ending was not what I had expected, partially. Felt like some of it was predictable, which is why I said partially. Appreciate that it also didn’t drag on, was a solid hour and an half movie that built up appropriately. Overall, I recommend 😊
Honestly had no idea what I was really getting into with this movie, but was honestly enjoyable. Started off like a normal documentary, then just gradually got more questionable as it went on (in a good way). As a lover of Beetlejuice, I was genuinely excited to see this. While it was enjoyable, my only grievance with the storyline was Rory. I understand why his character is important, but most of his scenes didn’t feel needed or could’ve been done without him. Theroux is a wonderful actor, but felt like a waste of his talent.
