  Eerie, unrelenting, bleak, and bloody. I’ve heard some say Longlegs is akin to Silence of the Lambs, and as a huge fan of the latter, I think it’s a fair comparison. A triumph in modern horror.

  Who needs Santa coming down the chimney when you’ve got Satan in the basement? Liked the originality of this movie, no cringeworthy CGI or cheap jump scares , and the atmosphere was absolutely perfect. Great performances too. I do wish the story was more cohesive in some parts and the pacing was a little slower than I liked, but overall a solid film. Can’t wait to see more projects from this director

  I’ll admit I was skeptical at first about whether or not this film would live up to all its hype...It certainly did. Gorgeous cinematography, heartfelt performances, brilliant music, and a gripping storyline. What really makes this movie is the meticulous attention to detail.

  I didn’t expect to get emotional during this film, as it takes a lot for me to get to that point, but I definitely shed a few tears and watched with bated breath during the last few scenes.

  Without a doubt, ‘Portrait of a Lady on Fire’ is one to Remember.
