All one-shot episodes. So well done.
Episode 3 is 🤯
This is NOT for the squeamish. I rolled my eyes at the 2hr20min runtime before going in, but I’m not mad about it. It used those 140 minutes fairly well. Maybe a couple spots it could have tightened up, but it didn’t feel long. The 3rd act sometimes feels like a different movie, although it’s really just a ratcheted up version of the same ride. This isn’t a subtle movie. It was fantastic. I was laughing through the ending as…
Solidly midfield film. All I knew was it was listed as a “thrills and chills” for the Monday Mystery Movie, it had Paul Rudd and Jenna Ortega and that there’d probably be a death of a unicorn at some point.
Pretty gory, but on the funny side of gory.
This isn’t your cute and fluffy unicorn. Enjoy “eat the rich” flicks? You’ll probably like this one.
Some points felt as if the writer didn’t quite know what to do, or how to wrap it.
