Love at First Sight 2023
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
The pacing in this movie was very weird. It was very short and felt rushed. The the two sided perspective would've worked better if they went back and forth with it but they spent too much time on the plane and the movie was over right as it was getting started.
Also Haley Lu Richardson's performance was bland and monotone.
Other than that, cute mindless netflix movie to have on in the background

A good biopic on Oppenheimer but the most interesting portion of the movie wraps up about 2 hours in. The last hour was boring and dragged on. Emily blunt was terrific

Barbie 2023
A great movie centered on feminism ideal and showing how men do not have to be tied to toxic masculinity and the patriarchy. Funny depictions of the Barbie world with references to how children play with the Barbie dolls brought the light tone back to the movie in the best way

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish 2022
A fun new story in the shrek franchise covering some of the lesser known of the old fairytales. Antonio Banderas had an excellent performance as Puss in Boots. I liked showcasing Goldilocks as one of the protagonists as that story is usually swept under the rug. Fun, whimsical, and a good message of finding your family when you don’t necessarily have one.
