Novocaine was an entertaining time at the movies filled with fun banter-filled moments spearheaded by Jack Quaid in a rare appearance as a solo lead role in a feature film. This film personifies the struggle of being so close yet so far from tragic event. Geoffrey Mason, the producer of the sports ABC broadcast of the games feels this the most as things unfold. The idea of feeling guilt for a situation you had little to no control over is such an interesting concept that I’m glad the film focused in on. Fly Me to the Moon is a refreshing rom-com that actually is for once in cinemas and not on Apple TV+, Netflix, etc. Having a cleverly hooking plot from the get go like the buildup to the moon landing/faking of the moon landing adds a lot more interest to this film for me than it would have other wise. The atmosphere of the NASA facilities is really interesting to dive into and the 60’s aesthetic is also played into nicely.…
