  Denis Villeneuve is incredible and is a top 3 director imo. He gives you so much detail that ends up paying dividends in the end. Movie had me hooked from the beginning with an intriguing and layered plot. The acting is incredible and developed the characters extremely well. The cinematography is obviously outstanding and the plot twist was crazy. A+ cast & Great score. The ending fight scene was unbelievable from the action to the visuals the entire time holy shit.

  Revolutionary cinematography but lacks emotional connection and narrative payoff. I don’t think they developed Rachael/Rick enough. Essentially is a movie filled with lessons and visuals that doesn’t go too deep. Be careful what you create and band up against the exploiters!
