a brilliant brilliant film. the cinematography was simply a 10/10. the role of music in this film is very significant because many crucial scenes are voiced over with musical sequences adding much more raw emotion to them.

LOVED THIS MOVIE!! such a pure and flawless depiction of young love and infatuation. it also did such an awesome job of portraying friendship. sachin x amal davis 4ever. was soooooo funny and had me cackling at so many different moments. the dynamics and chemistry between characters was off the charts. a rare 5 stars for me!

this movie was well done but i feel like they had so much to work with when it came to the whole idea of barbie and its setting of unrealistic beauty standards. instead of delving into the mother part (even though i thought this was clever), there were many other directions this film could have gone. i think i would have definitely enjoyed it more if it went more into society’s beauty standards as well as influence on female youth.
