This is one of the better Final Destination films on acid. There's more over the top style of storytelling in the best ways and Perkins has unlocked a good formula on how to do this within his own unconventional filmmaking.
With a few nods to King himself as well as the times we live in, The Monkey is a welcomed addition to Perkins filmography where you will laugh so hard in times you'll almost feel bad but stay for the gore as well.

Popeye's Revenge 2025
Except from a few surprising details in the film, this has to be one of the worst things I've subjected my eyes to. This is just more backward than the worst 80's American Slashers (including any sequel of Elm Street after 3, Friday after 3 etc) and deeply misogynistic where the start is full of female body humor and put's them in the male gaze. What's more baffling is that it actually had potential if any effort was given in the script to make it a little smarter but alas, there is hardly any style and virtually no substance.
