Robin Williams’ chest hair in this film - and specifically just his chest hair - should’ve won Best Supporting Actor at the 1997 Oscars, just sayin.

Better than Mission: Impossible 2 (standard) - but I have yet to find a film in this series that will beat the original!
But… this is definitely where the Mission: Impossible series starts to become… funny?
Some of the physical comedy in this film is absolutely top notch.
Simon Pegg and Tom Cruise? Attempting to infiltrate the Kremlin? Followed by a casual stroll, by the latter, up the side of the Burj Khalifa?
Sign me the fuck up.
Just make the plot *slightly* more user friendly next time… 😅

Mission: Impossible III 2006
One of the few things J.J. Abrams hasn’t screwed up. And, considering the omnishambles that is Mission: Impossible 2, I went in with low hopes (and surprisingly, still at my friend’s house).
Again - two words: Tom Cruise.
Actually, have three more words: a phenomenal actor.
The opening scene alone was already so much better than its forgettable predecessor. The angst on Cruise’s face during that scene would be hard for any other actor to replicate.
