  Death Wish 1974

  "Death Wish" is a film that tackles hard-hitting social issues and presents them in a stylish way. That, with the downright fantastic performance by the one and only Charles Bronson certifies this film as a truly classic action movie. Sadly, this film has the least amount of awesome murders, and therefore it is my least favorite of the "Death Wish" franchise, but seeing as this is one of the best action franchises of all time, this film is still better than most action movies.

  Unbeknownst to many, "Chicken Run" was released as "Turkey Run" in some foreign regions, certifying it as a Thanksgiving Classic! My only problem with this movie was that it was called "Chicken Run" instead of "Turkey Run", but after I discovered the alternate title, I turkey trotted to the film and promptly added it to my list of Thanksgiving Classics! This movie has everything you could possibly want, including Mel Gibson and some really scary scenes. I don't know if I'd show this one to the youngsters, because it might just be too frightening for them, but for us old heads, this movie hits the mark!

  The Best Thanksgiving Ever 2016

  Full disclosure, I did not watch "The Best Thanksgiving Ever", because the trailer looked beyond dreadful. It was so crass and tasteless, which goes against the very nature of Thanksgiving. There were scenes of sex, nudity, and inappropriate language. Typically, I am all for that kind of humor, but when it is both lazy and anti-Thanksgiving, I have to put my foot down. Henceforth, this film shall be known as "The Worst Thanksgiving Movie Ever"!
