Sing Sing is a heartfelt and modern take on a classic prison film that mostly avoids feeling cliche or derivative. A few moments towards the end are contrived and I think longer runtime would’ve helped it feel more natural. Great performances.

Psych 2: Lassie Come Home 2020
I’ve been rewatching Psych this week in preparation for Psych 2: Lassie Come Home. I forgot how much fun it was to see Shawn and Gus solve mysteries with their goofy antics, like a grown-up Mystery Inc. In my opinion, the main appeal of the show is that while Shawn is essentially an obnoxious man-child, he’s always one step ahead of everyone else in the room.
