this film communicates character in a way I have fallen in love with. the pacing, and slow, meditative shots are to die for. this film says more without dialogue. the way coppola weaves her way through the narrative is beautiful and delicate. that contrast between the messy, chaotic buzz of Tokyo and the stillness of a dimly lit hall way. only question I have is on the whereabouts of her husband, she fr pulled a Disney and killed him off…
