Watched the re-release in the theatre last night and literally have no words for it, shot in 35mm film—gritty, rich contrast, deep shadows, real. Today’s digital is too clean, too fake.

the cinematography and the performances are really good, but a film talks about the discrimination against jewish immigrants feels more like personal obstacles, unlike the intense racial and ethnic discrimination faced by other minorities ( african-americans or asians ) and please stop making films about antisemitism when ashkenazi jews are not even semitic by race or language anyway the use of brutalist architecture is compelling really captured how architecture is not just about building but about ideologies and historical context that shapes them

Nothing is of its own explanation.

Is there a better description of a cube, than that of its construction.
