Far more depressing than it lets on, a film about corruption and greed, told through a childlike lens. One of my new favourite films, and easily my favourite Malick film so far (although I’ve loved all of what I’ve seen from him).

The Grand Budapest Hotel 2014
The greatest film ever made. I wouldn’t change a single thing. Every performance is perfect. Every joke lands, even after 6 viewings. Basically everything I love about cinema is working at full force here, and to top it all off, it’s a snow movie. Snow movies are always superior.
