  Equal parts baffling and earnest to a fault in ways I simply have to admire. I love a fascinating mess and goddammit if this isn't a definitional case. Also a sucker for broad, incrutable performances and this is full of em.

  Extra 0.5 star here is from getting a live intro and extra long Q&A after with Coppola himself that sold the earnestness. The man just wants to talk about how much he loves making stuff and how making stuff makes the world better!
