Civil War 2024
I went in without knowing anything about the film. I actually thought it was quite good. It had a disturbing theme throughout and some tense, impressive action sequences that made the second half of the film particularly entertaining as we followed the characters to their end point of their journey.
However, I didn’t feel any connection to the characters which meant I struggled to feel much impact in their emotional displays, decisions or even death in some cases.

A sequel better than it’s classic original. Great action, suspense, new characters, chemistry between cast, plot. Amazing visuals and cinematography.

Thor: Love and Thunder 2022
MCU is in shambles. Cringe-fest, woeful CGI and the most disappointing villain. Gorr the god butcher, Christian Bale… this movie should have really toned down the goofiness and gone with a darker tone to match the villain. Not to mention the waste of a class actor here.
Jane was fine. I actually preferred her to Thor in this. 2 stars only for my previous loyalty to marvel. If this was not a marvel film without any previous story for me to give this film hope, I would have left half way through.
