Love the very natural progression of events within the film, almost having a documentary undertone. The film's narrative is very representative of the difficulty and uncertainty surrounding the transitional phase from being a careless teen to an adult, and the increasing expectations that come with it. Recognising these increasing expectations, the film is a final celebration of adolescent freedom. The film also romanticises the intimacy of teenage friendship and the collective struggle surrounding the pursuit of meaning in a seemingly meaningless world.
