Holds up very well compared to most of its peers from the time. Really makes you want to get stoned and eat White Castle as well.

Watched because I read the book. Not nearly as gruesome as half the reviews led me to believe but the content is still disturbing in general. The main issue I had when compared to the book was the took all nuance away from the characters and made them extremely one dimensional.
