A film with amazing acting, cinematography, costume and set design. The story is a dark inverted version of a certain biblical narrative (weaved together with others). Hands down the best horror movie I have ever seen.

The movie is a critique of religion and its misuse by man. I found it an interesting social commentary that I think will resonate with those who are disillusioned by organized religion and belief. I personally think it’s throwing the baby out with the bath water but that is beside the point. Hugh grant crushes his performance and absolutely carries this movie.
