Hugh Jackman gives a weird performance as a dude with an annoying son and a fighting robot. I never felt invested enough in anyone in this movie to care what happened. It's about as interesting as watching someone else play video games.

The Darjeeling Limited 2007
Like most Wes Anderson movies, this one is best when watched again. The first time I saw it it didn't connect with me, but after seeing it again I really appreciated it. The characters are well drawn and the relationship between the brothers is the important thing. The settings are interesting, and like all of Anderson's movies the staging is exhaustively detailed.

I've been researching rom coms for a theater project. So many of them are bad that when one is good it's a pleasant surprise. This movie is light, cute, and well crafted. There are a lot of good lines, and the stakes seems more important and plausible than in many romantic comedies.
