  This is honestly so refreshing for an action comedy. I wish we could be getting more self contained blockbusters that don't leave you hanging for sequals.
  The humor stays consistent the whole movie while also taking itself seriously enough to be invested in the plot and actually care about the outcomes. It could've easily drifted into just total gag territory but I'm glad it kept it's sights on the end result. This was definitely worth the watch, and I'd definitely see it again.

  I usually set my expectations low for these types of movies, but God damn, I was still disappointed.

  Unlike everyone else, I actually thought the idea for this movie could be interesting. Super actiony Santa Clause rescue movie with a polarbear henchman? That sounds fucking awesome. But the issue is now you just casted every blank piece of paper actor (besides JK Simmons of course) to be the main cast.

  Most of the actors all act like this is them…

  Even with other Sonic fans screaming and pumping their fists in the air for a huge portion of the movie, this film was just absolute fun.

  The action, the humor, the feelings, all there. Even with its many flaws this movie is just exactly what I wished would have came out when I was a kid. It's made with clear passion and love for this franchise despite its many flaws and still holds as one of the best video game…
