There’s just no movie like this. A wonderful road trip comedy with two compelling female characters? I haven’t seen anything like it, which is a shame. We need more movies like this!! I just love how they get hotter and hotter the more they commit crimes. While some of the character beats bothered me at the beginning, the characters evolved so much through the course of the movie that I was very glad for the flaws at the beginning.

Hit the Road 2021
This movie is SO beautiful. It’s very raw and ordinary in its journey through this family’s life and I love all of the little moments it shows. The older son is a bit of a wet blanket, but the actors of the parents are devastatingly compelling, especially the mother! Every time she cried, I cried. I could feel and hear this movie, it made me laugh and it made me cry. Very heartwarming story of the sacrifices a family makes for one another.
