Absolutely love this documentary. We don’t often get to see the disabled people as just people, even in this new day and age where we’re trying to push for more inclusion in the media space. People really used to be about something/stand for something, literally risking their lives to enact change. This documentary was so honest and poignant. & Some of those people at that camp were too freaked out lmfaoo I definitely cried by the end.

The Fire Inside 2024
Just an ok biopic. The movie is really saved by Brian Tyree Henry and the last few minutes detailing Clarissa’s impact on women’s boxing. It was also really heartbreaking but necessary to see the disparity in men’s/women’s boxing and how little her life changed immediately after winning a gold medal
