Mickey 17 2025
Neither great nor terrible just more of the same from the director of Parasite and Snowpiercer. As often in this kind of stories the clone concept is completely wasted and mostly consists of both Good Robert Pattinson and Evil Robert Pattinson standing next to each other in any given location.
Bong Joon-Ho as usual loves the simplistic and unsubtle political allegories. Mark Ruffalo and Toni Collette duet number as an explicite stand-in for the Trump couple is unbearable every time they appear on screen.

Tatami 2023
All the movie artsy formalism seemingly tailored for western audiences - complete with black/white cinematography and hyper geometric shot composition - picturing the sports facility as this almost carceral space buried in shadow falls a bit flat considering its very blunt and manichean political message. Riverboom 2023
Despite some interesting footages this is unfortunately yet another self-centered story about the spiritual journey of a disheartened westerner saved by the strenght and generosity of simpler people. Loosing your upper-class parents in a car accident doesn't really compare to the struggles of a country subjected to 40 years of war even you pretend to be self-aware about it. Also the main reason why it's not nearly as funny as it thinks it is.
