I loved every minute of this unapologetically.
Maybe that’s a commentary on how our current frame of mind can have massive impacts on how a film touches us but I don’t care. This is my new go to feel good movie.

Nosferatu 2024
First act is absolutely fantastic, the discomfort from Thomas in the castle, the shots, the parallels with Ellen it’s all encapsulating and terrifying. Once they leave the castle it lost me a bit. Kinda rushed, and kinda random. It fails to own strength which is staying true to the original story. The ending provokes a lot of human feelings, many of which make you feel disturbed, it’s sexy? Disgusting? Beautiful? And then kinda cheesy.
