The scene arriving to New York foreshadows the story of how the rich exploit forgeigners. It could be interpreted that way. The tension in the music and performances was well incorporated. The depth of the performances is notable: Adrian Brody as László Tóth, Felicity Jones Erzsébet, and Guy Pearce's Harrison Lee Van Buren.

Gawain, Dev Patel, is the nephew of King Arthur, and his mother is depicted as a witch, Sarita Choudhury, which I'm not sure is accurate but seems to be the case with modern interpretations.
