  i see the (good) parts of me in hirayama. life’s meaning and pleasures are in simple things. 

  “now is now” 
  this brought me back to my high school biology teacher’s classroom - she had covered the clock on the wall with words that said “the time is now.” i remember us students would talk about how frustrating and odd it was, but really it was a good reminder. 

  we have so much to learn from being in the present.
