    The cast, their performances, and the art department really hit it out of the park on this one. 

    That said, the movie’s attempts at feeling frenetic came off as unfocused instead. There were far too many instances of winking at the audience that clearly wouldn’t have happened at this time or probably didn’t happen at all, and they handed Lorne too many extra fires to put out, that he didn’t have or had already been taken care before the events…

    This is a little hidden gem of a movie. Of course it's low budget, direct-to-video, seams have a tendency to show themselves, with wanting production value, and somewhat bland cinematography, it erases those sins with winning writing, and the ability to sell even the most outlandish concepts and characters. This is one of the purest examples of a road movie I've ever seen, and I'm surprised it's not in conversation with movies like Big Fish, and Oh Brother, Where Art…
