Interesting character study about 2 shore patrol sailors who take a journey by bus and train up the east coast to deliver Randy Quaid to the brig. It’s bizarre seeing a young, fresh faced Randy Quaid knowing that he now looks like an elderly Sasquatch and is more batshit IRL than his character in Independence Day. Kind of a depressing watch, but I enjoyed it. Jack Nicholson gives an incredible performance. Also hilarious to see how Amtrak trains are the exact same today as they were in 1972.

Saturday Night Fever 1977
Every character is a total asshole and this movie is filled with a shocking amount of misogyny, homophobia, racism, 2 rape scenes, and is largely depressing as hell. With all that said, I loved it. John Travolta is electric on the dance floor, the soundtrack is an all-timer and it’s a great time capsule of 1970s Brooklyn.
