saw someone relate this film to “shoe gaze cinema” i think that seems very fitting, especially because of the way the effect the camera has at moments when the characters are moving quickly and it seems there is only chaos. such a beautiful film, also makes me feel more carefree about life and the way faye goes about her life, very adventurous and not too hesitant. i absolutely love the way she continuously plays her favourite song, because i feel that is very realistic to how people act, keeping some repetition going.

The Florida Project 2017
i’m obsessed with this movie. the kids are so real, the way they act and talk. so many genius scenes, and cool lines like “you know why this is my favourite tree? cause it’s tipped over and it’s still growing” exactly what a child would say. super beautiful, sad story.
